Michael F. Sebring, 50 of Shrewsbury, passed away Wednesday, May 5th 2010 in his home surrounded by his family after a long battle with Cancer. Michael is survived by his best friend and wife of 18 years, Donna L. (Abboud) Sebring: Two daughters, Cara Coletti of Lowell, and Jessica Sebring of Shrewsbury; his mother, Ida (D'Olimpio) Sebring of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Stephen Sebring of Worcester and David Sebring of West Boylston; a grandson Angelo Joseph Coletti: his mother in law, Edith Abboud of Arlington; several, nieces, nephews, extended family and numerous friends. Mike was born in Worcester, his father was the late Harold Sebring, he graduated from Holy Name High School in 1977, and earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1981 and his Masters degree in Business Administration from Assumption College in 1987. Mike was a Certified Public Accountant and partner with the accounting firm CCR in Westborough. He previously worked for Ernst & Young, LLP in the Worcester office. Mike's funeral will be held Saturday, May 8th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. John's Church, 44 Temple St. Burial will follow in Mt View Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, May 7th from 4 pm to 8 pm in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, care of Dr Linda Wang for Merkel Cell Carcinoma Research Fund, 44 Binney Street, Boston Ma 02115. Mike and his family would like to thank the staff at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, floors 10 & 11, especially Lori, Dan, Sheila, Dr. Lorch and Dr. Wang, as well as his many relatives, colleagues and friends for their love, compassion and support during his illness.
