Julia Gerardi

Julia A. (Valakevich) Gerardi,91, of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday April 27, 2010 in the TCU of Hubbard Hospital in Webster. Her husband Patrick Gerardi predeceased her. Julia is survived by her loving family; two sons, Donald Gerardi and his wife Paula (Helie) Gerardi ,Michael and his wife Anne (Donahue) Gerardi, and a daughter Patricia Sadusky, a sister Virginia Zona and her husband Mario, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren all of Worcester. Julia was predeceased by a son Thomas Gerardi and a daughter Maria Gerardi, and two sisters Anna Peterson ,and Jennie Valakevich. Julia was born in Worcester daughter of the late Alexander and Mary (Urbanas) Valakevich and lived here all her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School, and enjoyed being a Homemaker. Julia was a former member of St Casimir Church. Julia enjoyed going to bingo and loved being with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends. Julia's funeral will be held Saturday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 10:00AM in St. Johns Church 40 Temple St. Calling hours at the funeral home are from 6PM to 8PM. Burial will be held at the families convenience.
