Daniel C. DiRienzo, Jr. 26, of Worcester passed away suddenly, Monday, April 19th 2010 in his home. Daniel was born in Worcester December 5th 1983, graduated from Burncoat High School with a focus on horticulture and has lived here all his life. Daniel was never without a smile on his face. He was always happy and enjoyed have fun. He was a great friend to everyone who will be very much missed. Daniel loved the outdoors, fishing, boating, hiking, riding Jet skis and dirt bikes. He especially loved to spend time at Lake Quinsigamond. Daniel was also a sports fan who enjoyed attending Worcester Sharks games. He is survived by his parents, Daniel C. DiRienzo, Sr. and Sheryl A. (Laitinen) DiRienzo with whom he lived; a brother, Derek P. DiRienzo; his paternal grandmother Marylou Gezley in Tennessee; his maternal grandparents, Paul and Frances Laitinen of Millbury; many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and numerous friends. Daniel worked for the Price Chopper Supermarket on Sunderland Rd and with his father in the family business American Auto Transport of Worcester. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 24th 2010 at 11:00 am in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Friends and family are invited to a period of calling hours from 10 am to 11:00 am Saturday in the funeral home.
