Evelyn H Berglind

Evelyn H. (Hilton) Berglind, 85, of Worcester, passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 in Saint Vincent Hospital. Her loving husband, Carl J. Berglind, predeceased her in 2008. She is survived by a son, Bruce Berglind and his wife Kathy of Succasunna, New Jersey and a daughter, Bonnie Holtzclaw and her husband Karl of Boise, Idaho; a sister, Doris King of Worcester; four grandchildren, Erica, Jonathan, Carly and Katie; several nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Carl Parks and by a brother and sister, William Hilton and Helen Sweares. She was born in Charlton, daughter of Clarence and Lillian Hilton. Evelyn worked for Paul Revere Life Insurance Company for many years before she retired. She was a long time, active member of Lakeview Congregational Church, where she was a Deaconess and Trustee. Calling hours for Evelyn will be held Thursday morning, April 22, from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester; followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. in Lakeview Congregational Church, 115 Coburn Avenue, Worcester.
