Judith Rodrique

Judith J. (Wood) Rodrique, died Thursday, February 11, 2010 in The Villages, Florida. Mrs. Rodrique was born in Worcester, MA and graduated from Shrewsbury High School in 1957. Before moving to the Villages she lived in Auburn, MA from 1967-1994. She was a retired secretary and homemaker and member of St. Timothy's Catholic Church in The Villages. Mrs. Rodrique was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed reading, history, bowling, playing cards, and mah-jongg. She was an Air Force Veteran. Survivors include her husband, George Sr., son, George A. of Shrewsbury; daughter, Jessie M. of Arlington, MA; and sisters, Patricia Wood Duran of Shrewsbury and Hazel Wood Hopkins of Worcester. Calling hours will be at Saturday, March 6, from 8:30 a.m. until 9:30 a.m. in Mercadante Funeral Home & Chapel, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, followed by a Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Anne's Church, 120 Boston Turnpike Road (route 9), Shrewsbury. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton.
