Fusae M. (Yato) Pignataro, 82, of Worcester died peacefully at home Monday, February 15, 2010 with her loving daughters around her. She is survived by her two daughters, Maria E. and Michele A. Pignataro of Worcester, two sisters Haruko Kinishita, Kyu-Shu, Japan and Asako Waseda of Tokyo, Japan, and many nephews and nieces. Fusae was born in Fukuoka Ken Kyu-Shu, Japan daughter of the late Fukutarou and Aki (Nagano) Yato and came to the United States in 1955. Fusae was educated in her homeland of Japan. Fusae worked at David Clark Company for over 30 years, before retiring in 1997, the skills she learned as a seamstress contributed to the work she performed at the company and she was very proud to use her talent to help with the process of making protective suits for the astronauts. She attended Our Lady of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church. Fusae enjoyed her home, her family and friends and loved to travel with her daughters. Spending time with her family were her most precious moments. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. A Mass of Christian burial for Fusae will be held Friday at 9:00AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. will be held from 5-8PM on Thursday.
