Stephen C. Letourneau, 51, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, January 26th 2010 in the Parsons Hill Care facility after a long illness. Stephen was born December 29th 1958, in Worcester a son of Robert E. and Mary Ellen (Snyder) Letourneau. He grew up in Shrewsbury, graduated from Shrewsbury High School and earned his associates degree from Quinsigamond Community College and has lived in Worcester most of his life. Stephen is survived by two sisters, Jeanne M. LaPan, her husband David and their children, Angela and Sara, of Boylston, Lyn M. Connors and her children, Kyle, Corey, and Dylan, of Warren Mass, Robert E. Letourneau Sr. his wife Katherine and their children, Robert E. Jr. and Jonathan of Spencer; Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Stephen worked as a machinist for the Heald Machine Corporation a division of Cincinnati Milacron before retiring due to an automobile accident in 1980. Stephen enjoyed fishing, music, coffee and Cape Cod. He will mostly be known for his sense of humor and always displaying a smile. The funeral will be held Thursday, January 28th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Christopher Church, 950 West Boylston St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family, (Tonight) Wednesday, January 27th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
