Barbara (Evangeline) Haddad, 78, of Worcester passed away peacefully Monday, January 25th 2010 with her devoted family by her side in the Holy Trinity Rehabilitation Center. Barbara is survived by her devoted family; Her husband and partner of 59 years, Alfred Haddad; her two beloved sons, Greg Haddad of Auburn and Brad Haddad of Worcester, a granddaughter whom she adored and cherished Nicole Haddad; three sisters, Evelyn Decaro, Jean Troiano and Janet Trottier all of Worcester; two brothers, Charles Evangeline of Worcester and James Evangeline of Auburn; many nieces, nephews and friends. Barbara was born in Worcester, a daughter of Peter and Ida (Mungeon) Evangeline and has lived here all her life. Barbara worked many years for Stanley Bostich Tool Company inn Northboro before retiring. She previously co owned with her husband Fox Cleaners in Worcester. She was a member of St George Orthodox Cathedral. She enjoyed music, playing the piano and organ. Family was very important to her. They gave her inspiration and joy, she especially cherished the time she spent with her granddaughter Nicole. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 28th at 11:00 a.m. in St George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to render condolences to the family Thursday, January 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in St George Cathedral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either Holy Trinity Rehabilitation Center 300 Barber Ave or St. George Orthodox Cathedral, 30 Anna St. 01604.
