Mary M. (Pecorelli) Sliwoski, 87, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2009, in the Christopher House of Worcester. Her husband, John Sliwoski, predeceased her in 2003. Mary is survived by her loving family, a son, Patrick M. Palermo and his wife Elaine; two daughters, Maryann Wilder and her husband James and Janis Chesna and her husband Frank all of Worcester; a sister, Esther Dellagala and her husband Joseph of Shrewsbury; six grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Paul, Brian, Rachel and Tara; and eight great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her sister, Antoinette Pecorelli. Born in Worcester a daughter of Pasquale and Michelina (Falcone) Pecorelli, she has lived in Worcester all her life. Mary was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary Church. She was devoted to her family. She and her husband wintered in Florida for many years, and she continued to do so following his death, so that she could be in the warmth of Florida's sun and surrounded by her dear friends. Calling hours will be held Thursday morning, December 31 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m., with a funeral service at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
