Julia "Judy" (Turcotte) Nardero, 77, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009 in UMass Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years, Patrick Nardero; a son, Frank Nardero of Worcester; three daughters, Linda Pizzarella and her husband Joseph of Pasco, Washington, Diane M. Allaire of Worcester, and Brenda Smith and her husband Michael of Oxford; three sisters, Anita Garland of Florida, Irene Collins of Worcester, and Claire Laporte of Leicester; four grandchildren, Andrea, Joseph Jr., Ashley, and Paul; two great grandchildren, Zoe and Roy; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Russell, Raymond, and Francis Turcotte. Born in Worcester daughter of the late Julian and Sadie (Prunier) Turcotte, she has lived here all her life. Julia was a devoted member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. She enjoyed "the wonder of it all". She found great love and joy caring for her home and family. Calling hours will be held Monday, December 21, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANT FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. The funeral will be held Tuesday, December 22, from the funeral home, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Our Lady of Loreto Parish, 33 Massasoit Road, Worcester, MA 01604.
