Paulette Helen (Bourgault) (Linkevich) Moran of Auburn, died Thursday, December 10, 2009 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends after a short illness. She leaves her loving son, Jeffery M. Moran and devoted daughter, Tammy L. Moran both of Auburn; her long-time companion, James McGann of Rutland; her brother, Edward O. Bourgault, Sr. and his wife Cynthia of Worcester; her sister, Josette Treves and her husband Joseph of Tustin, California; four nephews, Michael Pratt of Wellfleet, Edward Bourgault, Jr. of Barre, Richard Bourgault and Marc Bourgault of Worcester; her two nieces, Danielle Pratt of Long Beach, California and Nicole Reynoso of Webster; her devoted best friend Cheryl D'Andrea of Worcester; two cherished step children, Kristina Peloquin of Princeton and Mathew Moran of Holden and aunts and uncles. She is predeceased by her mother, Dorothy H. Bourgault who passed away in April, 2009 and her father Oliver Bourgault who died in 1993. Paulette's first husband, Albert Linkevich died in 1977. She was born in Worcester on August 15, 1950 and attended Holy Name High School, David Hale Fanning School and Mt. Wachusett Community College where she earned her RN in 1996 with honors. Paulette worked for the former Hahnemann Hospital, the Visiting Nurses Association and 22 years for Worcester State Hospital, the last 6 years as a nursing supervisor. Anyone who knew Paulette knew of her compassion, intelligence, patience and sense of humor. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and colleagues. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 13th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. A Mass celebrating her life will be held on Monday, December 14th, at 12 noon in Holy Family Church, 35 Hamilton Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
