Joyce M. (Manna) Anderson, 69, of Holden passed away December 1, 2009 at her daughter's home in Duxbury with her loving family by her side. Joyce was born August 4, 1940, the daughter of Michael J. and Libra A. (Bacchiochi) Manna. She graduated from Major Howard W. Beal High School in Shrewsbury, and earned her degree from Worcester State College. In 1961, Joyce married her husband Robert and became a military wife enjoying the numerous moves required of the military, while raising her children, and supporting her husband in his Air Force career until retirement. She and her husband have lived in Holden for the past 32 years. Joyce took pride in raising her children and was instrumental and proud to see them all graduate from college and become integral parts of society. Her family was her life's inspiration and greatest moments of joy. She was a vibrant, loving person who will be greatly missed by all of her family and her numerous friends. Joyce is survived by her devoted husband of forty eight years, Robert C. Anderson; her two attentive daughters, Debbie Segalla and her husband Chris: Robin Finn and her husband Gregg: loving son, Michael Anderson and his wife Daniele; her beloved grandchildren, Emma, Michele, Ryan, Reid, Rhett, Rebekah and Daniel; a brother, Donald Manna; and many loving relatives. A grandson, Andrew, pre-deceased her. Joyce worked many years for the Shawmut Bank, at its operations center before retiring. There are no formal services. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, December 12th from 12 to 4 PM at the Marine Corps League, Detachment, Lake Ave Worcester. Joyce's family looks forward to seeing friends and family there. She will be buried privately.
