Richard E. Cramer, 71, of Worcester, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009. He was the beloved husband of Phyllis A. (Parmelee) Cramer for 50 years. Born on November 14, 1938 in Barberton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Russell and Grace (Miller) Cramer. He is also survived by his two daughters, Karen Mancini and her husband Marc of Shrewsbury and Cindy Cramer of Shrewsbury; two brothers, Frank Cramer of Ohio and Russell Cramer of Florida; three grandchildren, Amelia Mancini, Evan and Samuel Harnois and many nieces and nephews. A sister, Evelyn Jones and brothers Charles, George, and Donald Cramer predeceased him. Mr. Cramer served his nation proudly in the United States Army. Richard worked in advertising for shoe corporations such as Nobil Shoe, Endicott-Johnson and was the Vice President of Marketing for Thom McAn. He was a member of the Two Ten Footwear Foundation and enjoyed golfing and racquet ball. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, December 1st, at 11 a.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Mountain View Cemetery, Shrewsbury.
