Lois Rosemary (Verdini) Yeulenski, 62, of Worcester, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009, at the Rose Monahan Hospice in Worcester, with her loving family around her. Lois is survived by her son, Thomas E. Yeulenski, Jr. and his wife Raina and their children, Jack B. and Charlotte M. Yeulenski; her loving companion, William A. Deering; a brother, Arthur H. Verdini and his wife Helen of Boynton Beach, Florida; nieces and nephews. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Arthur T. and Mary E. (Ruggieri) Verdini, and has lived here all her life. She graduated from Venerini Academy and from Ward Secretarial School. Lois was a collector of historical Worcester items, and compiled a book called "The Old Photographs Series, Worcester". She also enjoyed gardening and collecting antiques. She was a loving woman, who found great joy in spending time with her family. The funeral for Lois will be held Saturday, November 28, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 9 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours will be held Friday, November 27, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
