Theresa R Millett

Theresa M. (Roy) Millett, 83, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, November 24th 2009 surrounded by her devoted family. Theresa is survived by her devoted husband and partner of 63 years, John E. Millett; a son, John Millett with whom she lived; a daughter, Sharon Bates and her husband David of Leicester; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A brother, Henry "Peter" Roy pre deceased her. Theresa was born in Worcester, the daughter of Elzear and Eva (Duval) Roy and has lived here all her life. Theresa was an avid bowler, a member of leagues in both the Auburn Bowl and Town & Country lanes. Theresa was a simple, gentle woman who cherished family and friends. She had a great sense of devotion to her husband, children and grandchildren that made her life complete. The funeral will be held Saturday, November 28th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, November 27th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
