Betty Ann Warner, 55, of Worcester, passed away Monday, November 16, 2009 in Autumn Village Nursing and Rehabilitation. She is survived by two sons, Kiya and Jeffrey Warner, both of Worcester; a sister, Geneva Lindo of Randolph; four grandchildren; her best friend, Hattie Thomas and her family, who she loved dearly; many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her twin sister, Barbara Ann Warner and by two brothers, Albert and Alvin Warner. She was born in Boston, daughter of the late Albert Hodges and the late Gertrude Warner. She graduated from Avon High School and Worcester State College. Betty Ann worked in the claims department for Kemper Group Insurance and also for John Hancock Insurance. She was also working as a night manager for Shell Oil, before her illness. She was a member of Second Baptist Church, it's Missionary Group, and Choir. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, November 24, at 11 a.m. in Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond Street in Worcester. Calling hours will be from 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Tuesday morning IN THE CHURCH. Interment in Hope Cemetery, will be private. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, Worcester.
