Phyllis M. Caprioli, 82, of Worcester, died peacefully Tuesday October 27, 2009 in St Vincent Hospital. Phyllis is survived by her loving family: two brothers John Caprioli and his wife Louisa of Worcester, Angelo Caprioli and his wife Carole of Barre, her sister Loretta Riordan and her husband James of Holden, an aunt Carolina DePari, and an Uncle Carlo Baldino, and several nieces and nephews that she adored. A brother Donald Caprioli predeceased her. Phyllis was born in Worcester daughter of the late Angelo and Grace (Baldino) Caprioli and lived here all her life. She worked at the UMASS Medical Center for many years before she retired. Previous to that she worked for the Dulmaine Neckwear Company for over 30 years. Phyllis was a life member of Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church, and its Golden Years Club, and the S. S. Madonna Addorlorata Womens Society, Our Lady of Sorrows. She enjoyed bingo, going out for lunch, and her trips to the Casino. But her most precious times were those spent with her family and friends at 50 Shrewsbury St. She will be missed by her family and friends. The funeral for Phyllis will be held from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. on Thursday October 29, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. A calling hour will be held from 9:00AM to 10:30AM in the funeral home prior to leaving for church. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
