Lena B Triola

Lena B. (Molinari) Triola, of Shrewsbury passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2009, surrounded by her family. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Joseph and Anna (LaRange) Molinari. Her husband Luciano L. Triola passed away in 1988 after 43 years of marriage. Lena is survived by her two children, Gloria A. Jasukonis of Shrewsbury, Luciano Triola, Jr. and his wife Elaine of Worcester; two granddaughters, Lauren Jasukonis of Shrewsbury and Elizabeth Jasukonis of Worcester; a sister Ruth Parlante of Shrewsbury; her former son in law Mark Jasukonis of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. Her brother, Wallace "Wally" Molinari and three sisters, Rose Montimurro, Josephine Molinari, Grace Evangelista all pre deceased her. Lena attended Worcester Public Schools. She was a cosmetologist all her life. She worked for Leo's Beauty Salon and Capelli Avanti before retiring in 1982. She was also employed by Dino's Restaurant since her retirement. She was a member of St. Anne's Church, the Shrewsbury Women's League, and the Eastside Post 201, Ladies Auxiliary. Lena was an avid reader, bowler and cook. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:30 to 10:30 am Wednesday, October 21st in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. Lena's funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am Wednesday October 21st in the Church of St Anne, 130 Boston Turnpike Rd. Burial will follow in St John's Cemetery. The family requests that flowers be omitted. Memorial contributions may be made to the Umass Memorial Hospice, 650 Lincoln St. Worcester.
