Maria J Gadaleto

Maria Josephine (Manna) Gadaleto, 96, of Shrewsbury formerly of Worcester, MA passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at the Christopher House Rehabilitation Nursing Home. She was widowed by her first husband, Benjamin Mangini and her second Nicolo Gadaleto. She is survived by her son Bernard A. Mangini and his wife, Natalie of Laguna Niguel, CA. She is also survived by her nine grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sons Bruno M. Mangini and William R. Mangini. Maria was born in Worcester on January 13, 1913, daughter of Lorenzo and Jennie (Rozulo) Totze and has lived in Worcester most of her life, moving to Shrewsbury in 2004. She enjoyed singing, especially with her sons, crocheting and being with her family. Her delicious cookies and pizza always made every family gathering a success. She will be missed dearly, but her beautiful smile and warm and caring ways will always be remembered. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th at 10:30 a.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
