Raffaela Casillo, 84, of Worcester passed away Sunday, September 6th 2009 with family by her side. Raffaela was born April 1, 1925, in Worcester a daughter of Stanislaus and Amelia (Romano) Casillo. She graduated from Worcester Public Schools, worked over 30 years for the Worcester City Hospital before retiring in 1990. She is survived by her four sisters, Mary A. Amato and her husband John, Gloria Schofield and her husband Alden, Amelia Sachetto and Rose Balsamo all of Worcester; many nieces and nephews. Three brothers, Eugene, Michael and Anthony Casillo pre deceased her. Raffaela was a private and quiet lady who loved bingo, enjoyed her beloved poodles and collecting knick knacks. She cherished her family especially her nieces and nephews, enjoying the numerous times she spent with them and her sisters. Funeral services and burial in St. John Cemetery will be held privately. There are no calling hours.
