Angelo Vinzi, 82, of Ossipee Mountain Road, Moultonborough New Hampshire, formerly of Worcester passed away to his eternal rest, Thursday August 27th 2009 in Dartmouth Hitchcock Hospital, Hanover New Hampshire. Angelo was born on January 9th 1927, the devoted son of Anna Marie (DiTaranto) Vinzi and Domenic Vinzi. He graduated from Commerce High School. He then served his country during World War II in the U.S. Army. Upon returning home, Angelo went back to school earning his Bachelor's, Master's and Doctorate degrees. He then worked more than 35 years for General Electric Corporation, retiring as a Project Director. Angelo is survived by a brother, Rocco Vinzi and his wife Barbara; his two sisters, Dolly Shay and her husband Artie, and Mary Abbruzzese; several nieces and nephews, and two great nephews. Sisters, Ida Spadea and Anna Vinzi, and brothers, Vito and Joseph Vinzi all pre deceased him. Angelo was a very private man with so many accomplishments. He had a very strong sense of family values and warm acceptance for everyone. It was this that was his life's inspiration. He will be missed by his cherished family and all those that knew him. Funeral services and burial in St. John's Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours.
