Mildred J. Zollo, 89, formerly of Sherbrook Ave. died peacefully Thursday August 27, 2009 after an illness. Millie is survived by a sister Anne Dell'Olio of Worcester and many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces. She was predeceased by a brother Anthony Zollo, and three sisters Flora Simone, Amelia Daigle, and Josephine Mazzola. Mildred was born in Worcester daughter of the late Angelo and Angela (Colandra) Zollo and lived here all her life. She was a Bakers assistant for many years at the former Betty Ann's Bakery on Shrewsbury St. before she retired. Millie was a long time member of Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church. She was skilled at knitting, and really enjoyed times spent with her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Millie's funeral will be held Monday August 31, from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. A calling hour will be held from 9:30AM to 10:30AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
