Mary A. Cecchi

Mary A. (Fulginiti) Cecchi, 87, of Worcester, passed away Saturday, August 1, 2009, in Memorial Hospital. She is survived by her loving husband and nearly sixty-three years, Enzo Cecchi; a brother, Frank Fulginiti; a sister, Catherine Amelin; many nieces and nephews. She was pre-deceased by two brothers and a sister, Pasquale and Anthony Fulginiti and Rose Brink. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Frank and Theresa (Gracia) Fulginiti and has lived here all her life. Mary worked for Goretti's Markets for many years in their corporate offices, before she retired. She had previously worked for thirty years at George Lamoreau Distributors, retiring as the office manager. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church. She enjoyed travelling. The funeral for Mary will be held Thursday, August 6, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass held at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-Saint Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow in Saint John's Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, August 5, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
