Eugenia S. Nevins Sabree

Eugenia S. "Jeanne" (Carlos) Nevins-Sabree, 79, of Worcester and Glendale, Arizona, passed away, Wednesday, July 29, 2009, in her Worcester home, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Lawrence Nevins-Sabree; seven daughters, Cheryl H. Rutherford, Jamilla L. Sabree and Jean E. Shaw, all of Worcester; Karen E. "Bates" Brown, Denise J. Nevins and Lisa A. Nevins all of Glendale, Arizona, and Lauren I. Cambra of Raleigh, NC; a sister, Muriel Anderson of Worcester; fifteen grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; a great grandson; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. She was pre-deceased by three brothers and four sisters, Horace "Chuck" Carlos, Philip Carlos, Charles "Sonny Boy" Carlos, Camille Bracey, Wilhemina Crawford, Carrabelle "Carol" MacPherson, and Harriet Warner. She was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Charles F. and Tenah (Sutton) Carlos. The funeral service will be held Friday, July 31, at 2 p.m. in the Islamic Society of Greater Worcester, 57 Laurel Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park.
