Lillian Ferrantino-Stone

Lillian R. (Noble) Ferrantino-Stone , 86, of Worcester, passed away Sunday, July 12th 2009 in St. Vincent Hospital. Lillian's husband John R. Stone Sr., passed away in 1997; Her first husband Angelo P. Ferrantino Sr. , passed away in 1965. Lillian had twelve children. She is survived by Joseph L. Ferrantino and his wife Donna, of Ware; Daniel J. Ferrantino and his wife Gayle J. , Peter F. Ferrantino and his wife Lisa all of Worcester; Carol A. Levine and her husband Daniel R. with whom she lived; Gayle Ferrantino and her husband Daniel; and James S. Stone Sr. all of Worcester; Crystal L. Stone and her husband Jeff C. Johnson of Webster, and Nancy Stone of Conn; her daughters in law Marie L. Stone of Oxford and Debera A. Stone-Santon of Sutton; a sister, Elizabeth C. Mulcahy of Shrewsbury; 22 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandsons; many nieces and nephews. Four children, Angelo P. Ferrantino Jr. in 2008, John R. Stone in 2004, Cheryl M. Storey in 2003, and Paul S. Stone Sr. in 1991; and five siblings Edith S. Gover, Irene Kirk, Frank Noble, May Lawson and Marion F. Patricks, all pre deceased her. She was born in Worcester; her parents were Frank E. and Mary E. (Bradshaw) Noble and has lived here all her life. Lillian once worked as activities director for the former Heywood Valley Nursing Home. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church and a former Church Girl Scout Leader. The funeral will be held Wednesday, July 15th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Calling hours are 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 14th in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
