Nathaniel Devon Turner, 7, of Eufaula, Alabama and Worcester, was called home to be with God on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in UMass Hospital. He is survived by his mother, Alicia B. Turner and her companion Scott Wilson both of Worcester; his grandmother, Christine (Turner) Taylor, with whom he lived in Alabama; his maternal grandfather, Johnny McGee, his maternal great grandfather and mother, Jim McGee and Mary McGee all in Mississippi; his "Nana", Willie Dale Oliver of Worcester; a brother, Taeliejah Wilson of Worcester; a sister, Kadeja Burgos of Alabama; an aunt, Kajuna Turner, an uncle, Cedric Turner, as well as a cousin Ashiya Carpenter all of Worcester. He also leaves his biological father's extended family. His brother, Diantea Schuler, pre-deceased him. Nathaniel was born in Worcester, and has been living in Alabama for several years, where he attended elementary school and went to church every Sunday. The funeral for Nathaniel will be held Friday, July 3, at 12 Noon in Triumphant Life Church, 102 Randolph Road, Worcester. Calling hours will be held Friday morning from 10 a.m. until 12 Noon in the church, immediately prior to services. Memorial donations in his memory may be made to The Nathaniel D.
