Arlene H. Fielding

Arlene H. (Levin) Fielding, 75, of Shrewsbury, passed away Tuesday, June 23rd 2009 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital after a brief battle with cancer. Arlene was born May 28th 1934, in South Hampton, Long Island New York, a daughter of Maxwell and Estelle (Dryfus) Levin and came to Worcester in 1957. She is survived by her devoted two sons, Jonathan B. Fielding and his wife Jennifer of Princeton, and Michael B. Fielding of West Hartford; a granddaughter, Erin Baffuto; and her former husband Dr. Jerome L. Fielding of Worcester; Arlene worked as a sales woman for more than 30 years for Shacks Clothing in Worcester and Auburn before retiring. At Arlene's request there are no funeral services. She will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery in Princeton. Memorial contributions may be made in Arlene's name to the Peter Levine Cancer Center, care of Umass Memorial Healthcare Foundation, 333 South St. Shrewsbury, MA 01545.
