William N. Rezuke, 87, of Shrewsbury, passed away Wednesday, June 24th 2009 in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. William's wife of 54 years Emily (Massad) Rezuke passed away in 2004. He is survived by his two sons, Robert W. Rezuke and his wife Sharon of Grafton, William N. Rezuke, Jr. and his wife Jeanne of West Hartford, CT; a brother, Edward P. Rezuke of Shrewsbury; five sisters, Adele M. Haddad, Carol Fitzgerald and Rose Rezuke all of Worcester, Nellie Laurence of Sterling and Lillian Dorr of Leicester; three grandchildren, Erica Christine, Nicholas Peter and Brandon Lee Rezuke; many nieces, nephews and friends. Three brothers, David, George, and Edmund Rezuke and a sister, Mary Palermo all predeceased him. He was born in Lowell, a son of Toaffar N. and Mary (Debs) Rezuke. He graduated from Commerce High School, served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, stationed in the Philippines. He then earned his Pharmacist degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and has lived in Shrewsbury for more than 48 years. Bill was a Massachusetts registered pharmacist and Sales Representative for Abbott Labs for many years before retiring. He also worked part time as a pharmacist locally. He was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church and its men's club. Bill was also a member of the Massachusetts Association of Registered Pharmacists. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26th at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 256 Hamilton St. Burial will follow next to his wife in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday morning June 26th from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. in the Church. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help church Scholarship fund, 256 Hamilton St. 01604.
