Louise M. (Baranauskas) Simone, 92, a proud mother and grandmother, formerly of 50 Shrewsbury St and 8 Prentice St. passed away Friday, June 12th 2009 in St. Vincent Hospital with family by her side. Louise's husband Giacomo "Jack" Simone passed away more than 15 years ago. She is survived by her devoted daughter and best friend, Elaine Simone and her fiancée John Ferdella of West Boylston; and a son , Robert "Chip" Simone and his wife Kathy of Atlanta; a brother, Andrew Baranauskas of Worcester; three adored grandchildren, Elena Inangelo, Carissa Soucie and her husband Norman, Frank Inangelo, Jr. and his wife Emily; her beloved cat "Zoe"; her beloved in laws whom made her feel more like a sister than sister in law; Amelia "Millie" Simone, Mary Bergantine, Lucy Zarette, Congetta "Connie" Simone, and Domenic "Babe" Simone; A granddaughter, Maria Inangelo and a sister, Stephanie Lettic pre deceased her. She was born in Terryville, CT, daughter Andrew and Vincenta (Marcisewska) Barabauskas. She moved to Worcester as a child and graduated from Commerce High School. Louise worked in Sales, most of her employed life. She worked many years for Sears, Roebuck, and co-owned with her husband Bay state advertising on Shrewsbury Street. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. A former member of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Maria S.S. Addelloratta Society. She was a devoted gentle and simple woman who enjoyed her family and their company. They were everything in her life. She also loved animals, and was a devoted Red Sox Fan. Louise was also very health conscious. She enjoyed walking, cooking and watching Golf with her husband on the weekends. The funeral will be held Monday, June 15th from The MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be private. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Monday, June 15th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home prior to the funeral.
