Marilyn M. (Kacavich) Borraccino,of Worcester died peacefully Thursday June 4, 2009 in the Beth Israel Hospital, Boston surrounded by her loving family. Her husband Alfred S. "Fred" Borraccino died in 1994. Marilyn is survived by a son Alfred "Freddie" Borraccino Jr. two daughters Nancy M. LaFleur and Joan M. Borraccino both of Worcester, three sisters Mary Symonowicz, Susi Hassell of Utah, Sandy Kacavich of Worcester,two brothers Billy and Johnny Kacavich and nephews, nieces, and her many feline friends. Marilyn was born in Marlboro daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Brunnelle) Kacavich and lived in Worcester most of her life. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Marilyn worked at the College of Holy Cross for many years before she retired. She enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a member of Our Lady Of Mt Carmel- St Ann Church, and was active in the east side Joe DiMaggio and Babe Ruth Leagues. She enjoyed playing bingo and trips to Twin River and her favorite multi magic machine. But her most precious times were those spent with her family. She truly will be missed. Marilyn's funeral will be held Monday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian burial at 11:00AM in Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 3-6PM Sunday June 7. Interment will be in St. Johns Cemetery.
