Robert P. Howell

Robert P. Howell, 23, of Gilbertville, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Baystate Mary Lane Hospital. He is survived by his father and step-mother, Robert A. and Anita J. (Rutel) Howell, with whom he lived; his mother, Kim Livingston of Sarasota, Florida; two brothers, Jeremy E. Howell of Gilbertville and Ethan L. Howell of Sarasota; two step-brothers, Peter Andrews of Sarasota and Jeffrey Wyda of Chicopee; a step-sister, Tori Andrews of Sarasota; his maternal grandmother, Jean Livingston in North Carolina; his paternal step-grandmother, Phyllis Howell of Uxbridge; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. His son, Jason Robert Howell, pre-deceased him. Bobby was an avid golfer and had worked as a golf course maintenance worker at various golf courses in the area. He enjoyed playing guitar, attending concerts, and music of all genres. He was a fun loving person, who made friends with everyone he met. The Howell family would like to thank the Hardwick Rescue Squad, The Police Department, and Fire Department for their caring, concern and attentiveness. The kindness shown will always be remembered. A funeral service for Bobby will be held Saturday, June 6, at 11 a.m. in Covenant Evangelical Church, 611 South Street, Barre, MA. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be held Friday, June 5 from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. in MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester.
