Catherine M. "Auntie Kay" (Capozzo) Reiman, 89, of Worcester, passed away Wednesday, May 20th 2009, in her home surrounded by family. Kay's husband Francis Reiman passed away in 1970. She is survived by a brother, Angelo Capozzo and his wife Millie of Worcester; many nieces and nephews which include, Joan (Giordano) Zalansky and her husband Joseph, Anthony Giordano, Jr. and his wife Julie, Robert "Gus" Giordano and Susan Giordano. Also Susan, Tom, Sean and Rachael Montville, Joseph Zalansky Jr., Paula, Stan, Sarah and Noah Tosti, Robert, Jennifer, Kayla and Joshua Zalansky, Jodi, Joe, Amanda and Rebecca Silk; Four Brothers, Charles, and Anthony Mancuso, Anthony and Frank Capozzo, Jr. and Mary Giordano all pre deceased her. She was born in Worcester on August 14th 1919, a daughter of Nicholas and Josephine (Cosenza) Capozzo. "Auntie Kay" was a loving, giving woman, who cherished her family and friends. Her enthusiasm in life was gained from enjoying the company of those family members, her friends, and her very special neighbors. Her church community, hospice/home health nurses, and all who knew her will miss the remarkable lady that she was. Catherine's funeral will be held Saturday, May 23rd from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 1290 Grafton St. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Friday, May 22nd from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
