James A. Pratillo, 53, of West Boylston and Hyannis died peacefully Friday May 8, 2009 in the Cape Cod Hospital after a brief illness. James is survived by his wife Coral Ann (Dufault) Pratillo of Hyannis, a son Preston, and a daughter Jennifer, a grandson Ryan, a brother Eugene "Gene" Pratillo and his wife Janice of West Boylston, two sisters Ann L. Wilson of West Boylston, and Ellen T. Senecal and her husband William of Rutland, and several nephews and nieces. James was born in Worcester son of the late Anthony L. and Helen M. (Salmon) Pratillo and lived most of his life in West Boylston. He was a graduate of West Boylston High School, and was a manager at the Advanced Auto Parts store on Grafton St. where he was still working up until his passing. After his father passed James took over his company Midway Auto Supply. Jimmy enjoyed working on cars, NASCAR races and Chapin Beach. He was an avid Red Sox Fan, but most of all being with his family. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends. James' funeral will be held Wednesday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:AM in St. Christopher Church 950 West Boylston St. Calling hours in the funeral home are from 6-9PM on Tuesday. Burial will be in Mount Vernon Cemetery.
