Bessie T Layfulde-Breault

Bessie T. "Betty" (Hatfield) Layfulde-Breault, 97, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 5th 2009 in Holy Trinity Eastern Orthodox Long term care center. Bessie's husband Aime F. Breault passed away in 1966. She is survived by nieces, nephews and friends including Eleanor Willard and her husband Bruce of Worcester who cared for her needs. She was born in Newark New Jersey, a daughter of the late Frederick and Viola (Davies) Hatfield and came to Worcester in 1944. At onetime Bessie owned and operated Charlie's Lunch on Grafton St. She was a member of Holy Family parish at St Joseph's church. The funeral will be held Friday, May 8th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 35 Hamilton St. Burial will follow in St. Bridget Cemetery Millbury. A period of visitation will be held from 8:30 am to 9:30 am Friday May 8th prior to the mass in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Parish, 5 Whitman Rd Worcester.
