Kenneth M. Curry "Papa", Sr., 58, of Worcester passed away Friday May 1st from injuries suffered in an automobile accident in Coldbrook N.H. Kenny is survived by his wife of 38 years Rosemary (Roncone) Curry; his two cherished children, Kenneth Curry, Jr., and his wife Kelly; Maria Calcagni and her husband Jason all of Worcester; three cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Kailee and Jayden; two brothers, Edward J. Curry and Michael Curry; many nieces and nephews; a granddaughter Sydni Calcagni pre deceased him. Kenny was born in Toledo, Ohio a son of Kenneth H. and Margaret (Cramer) Curry. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and has lived here all his life. Kenny worked more than 25 years as a foreman for Masiello Construction Company before retiring. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, the International brotherhood of Laborers Union Local 243 and the International Carpenter's Union Local 107. He was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting, fishing and the beach. His grandchildren were his inspiration. The funeral will be held Wednesday, May 6th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, May 5th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
