Barbara G. (Lesperance) Conway of Jefferson formerly of Worcester died peacefully Saturday April 25, 2009 at home surrounded by her family. Her husband John Conway died in 1965. Barbara is survived by her loving family; two daughters, Kathleen Laplante and her husband Stephen, and Cheryl Conway both of Jefferson with whom she lived, four son's Michael Conway and his wife Virginia of Marston Mills, John Conway and his wife Wendy of West Boylston, Stephen Conway of Worcester, and James Conway and his wife Judith of West Boylston, eighteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew. Barbara was born in Millbury daughter of the late Henry and Muriel(Leclair) Lesperance and lived in Worcester many years before moving to Jefferson. She worked in the Medical Records Department at St. Vincent Hospital for many years before she retired. Barbara was a member of the Red Hat Society, and also the Senior Center of Holden which she enjoyed going to and being with her friends. She liked playing bingo and enjoyed crochete, but most of all being with her family. She will be missed dearly by her family and friends. Calling hours for Barbara will be held Tuesday from 5-8 pm in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. Worcester, Burial will be held privately in the All Faiths Cemetery at the families convenience.
