Anthony Toscano, 77, of the Jefferson section of Holden, passed away Saturday, April 18, 2009, in his home, with his loving family at his side. Anthony is survived by his wife of fifty-seven years, Kathleen Ursula (Hassett) Toscano; six daughters, Gina Bechard of Worcester, Kathleen Toscano of Jefferson, Diana Penny of Auburn, Angela DeLuna of Concord, Joanna Toscano of West Boylston, and Christina Plaud of Worcester; four sisters, Nancy Coffone, Virginia Macaruso, Julie Aromando, and Rita O'Brien all of Worcester; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by four sons, Joseph, Mark, Michael, and Anthony Toscano, Jr. He was also pre-deceased by his brother, James Toscano. Anthony was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Rachael (Bria) Toscano and lived most of his life in Worcester, before moving to Jefferson nine years ago. He worked as a mover for Philip Massad Movers for thirty years, retiring in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of Loreto Church. Funeral services will be held privately.
