Hermina Harcz

Hermina (Lakatos) Harcz, 83, known to her friends and co-workers as "Elizabeth" or "Harczy", of Worcester, passed away on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2009, in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence in Worcester. She is survived by her husband, Joseph and a daughter, Maria E. Harcz-Lydon and her husband Patrick. Mrs. Harcz worked as a mental health assistant for twenty-eight years at Worcester State Hospital, retiring in 1992. The funeral will be held Thursday, April 16, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of The Rosary Church, 25 Fales Street, Worcester. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, April 15 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
