Joy F. (Jaston) Davini, 60, of Worcester passed away Friday, April 3rd 2009 surrounded by her devoted family. Joy's husband Dennis A. Davini, Sr. passed away in 2000. She is survived by her two cherished children, Dennis "Bucky" Davini, Jr. and Jody L. Davini; her father, Robert F. Jaston, Sr.; a devoted sister, Barbara J. Johnston all of Worcester; three adored grandchildren, Jada, Joey and Vanessa; a nephew who holds a special place in her heart, Charles Johnston, of Worcester. Many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Two brothers, Frank J. and Robert F. Jaston Jr, and a sister, Judith Ross pre deceased her. She was born in Worcester; her mother was the late Mary A. (Migliozzi) Jaston. She graduated from Commerce High School, earned her certificate in hair design from Wilfred Academy and has lived her all her life. Joy worked as an Instructor for Wilfred Academy more than 9 years before retiring due to illness. She was a member of St. John Church. Joy enjoyed the beaches of Hampton and Cape Cod. She also enjoyed traveling to the casinos in Connecticut. A quiet woman who's greatest inspiration was her family and their company. The funeral will be held Wednesday, April 8th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. John Church, 44 Temple St. Burial will follow next to her husband in St. John Cemetery. Friends and relatives may visit with the family; Tuesday, April 7th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
