Stella (Perch) Jameson, 81, formerly of 17 Bumblebee Circle, Shrewsbury, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 24, 2009 surrounded by family. Stella is survived by her three children, R. Dwight Jameson, Jr. and his wife Mary of Jamaica Plain, MA; Gail C. Thedinga and her husband William H. of Menomonie, WI; John M. Jameson and his wife Robin of Los Angeles, CA; six grandchildren, Todd, Sara and Paul Thedinga and his wife Angela, Devin and Riley Jameson and Kieran Jameson; friends and extended family. She was predeceased by her brother Emmanuel Perch, her sister Rose Perch, and her former husband Rudyard D. Jameson. Stella was born in Worcester, a daughter of Sahag S. and Zianna S. (Donabed) Perch. She graduated from Commerce High School and lived in Shrewsbury for most of her life. For many years Stella was involved as a member and volunteer at the Shrewsbury First Congregational Church. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Thursday, March 26th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St., Worcester. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Burial in Hope Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
