Antonetta M. (DiPadua) Ciccone, 95, of North Oxford formerly of Worcester, passed away Friday, March 20th 2009 in the University of Massachusetts Hospital. Antonetta's husband Felix B. Ciccone passed away in 1992. She is survived by her seven devoted children, Cecelia N. Kelley with whom she lived, Phillip A. Ciccone of Shrewsbury, Mario A. Martellotta and his wife Diane of Worcester, Gerri M. Dupre and her husband Richard of North Brookfield, Lucia C. Ciccone in Maine, Penny Kulakusky and her husband Anthony, Nikki Gangai and her husband Joseph all of Oxford; four brothers, Leo, Patsy, Michael and Peter DiPadua; four sisters, Lucy Daviau, Nancy Rose, Rose Mahoney, and Jenny Kewley; twenty three grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Maryann Morrissey, two brothers, Matteo and James DiPadua pre deceased her. Antonetta was born in Worcester a daughter of the late Francis and Mary Ann DiPadua and has lived here all her life. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church. She enjoyed bingo, crochet, cooking for her family and her trips to Foxwoods. The funeral will be held Tuesday, March 24th from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL; 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow next to her husband in Worcester County Memorial Park in Paxton. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 Tuesday, in the funeral home.
