Annette Collaro

Annette (Fasano) Collaro, 72, of Shrewsbury died peacefully Tuesday March 3, 2009 in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Andrew Collaro Jr. three daughters Cathy Kalagher of Shrewsbury, Sharon Collaro of Worcester, and Cherylann Collaro of Shrewsbury, four grandchildren; Jamie, Mellissa, Courtney, and Anthony, and two great grandsons Andrew and Mason, and several nephews and nieces. A brother Ben Fasano predeceased her. Annette was born in Worcester daughter of Frank and Frances (Alizio) Fasano and has lived in Shrewsbury for forty three years. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Annette enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a long time member of our Lady Of Mt Carmel-St Ann Church, and was an avid reader. She loved trips to the Cape and Hampton Beach with her family, and loved Christmas Eve with the grandchildren, and great grandchildren and her extended family. She will be missed by her family and friends. "To my friends in Shrewsbury I will bring my cherished memories with me" Annette's funeral will be held Friday from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM in Our Lady Of Mt. Carmel-St Ann Church 24 Mulberry St. A Calling hour will be held from 9:00AM to 10:00AM prior to leaving for church. Entombment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
