Mary B. Germain

Mary B. (Masterson) Germain, 92, of Preston Street in Worcester, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2009, in her home, with her family by her side. Her husband, Louie Germain, predeceased her in 1985. Mary is survived by two daughters, Helen M. Armendo, with whom she lived and Theresa Kuchnicki of Worcester; five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Her son, Frank Niedzinsky, Jr, three brothers, Matthew, Richard, and William; a sister, Hazel Blessing, and her first husband, Frank Niedzinsky, all pre-deceased her. Mary was born in Worcester, the daughter of Matthew and Theresa (Cummings) Masterson, and has lived here all her life. She was a member of Saint Paul's Cathedral in Worcester. A funeral Mass for Mary will be held Wednesday, March 4, at 10 a.m. in Saint Paul's Cathedral, 15 Chatham Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. The family has requested that flowers be omitted. MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester is assisting the family with arrangements.
