Helen F. (LaConte) Juskavitch, 94, of Holden formerly of Worcester died peacefully Thursday February 26, 2009 at home surrounded by her loving family.Her husband Steven J. Juskavitch died in 1967. Helen is survived by her loving daughter Joyce F. Curran of Holden with whom she lived, three sisters; Anne Brooks of Auburn, Dorothy Butler of Holden, Lucy Orton of Oregon, and many nephews and nieces, and her special angel Serafina Quinn, and loving nephew George LaConte. Helen was predeceased by her son in law Thomas Curran of Holden, and three brothers Anthony, George, and Richard LaConte, and three sisters Phyllis Mitchell, Angelina Tanko, and Sylvia Thompson. Helen was born in Worcester daughter of the late Nicola and Clarinda (Ferraiuolo) LaConte and lived in Worcester most of her life before moving to Holden to live with her daughter. She worked in the Dietary and Housekeeping Depatment at the Worcester State Hospital for over 25 years before she retired. Helen was a long time member of St. Margaret Mary Church, and was a member of the Brown Square Civic Club Women's Auxiliary. Helen loved to watch her soap operas. And in her younger years was a Flapper. She really enjoyed being with her family and many friends whose hearts she touched. She will be missed dearly. A private funeral will be held Monday in the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 370 Plantation St. There are no calling hours.
