Mary T. (Miglionico) Mangini, 87, of Squantum Street in Worcester, passed away, Thursday, February 26, 2009, in her home, with her daughters by her side. Her husband, Angelo J. Mangini, pre-deceased her in 1984. Mary is survived by three daughters, Linda M. Mangini and her husband Ronald Cyr, with whom she lived, Dr. Nancy J. Mangini and Dr. Brian Kennedy both of Forest Park, Illinois, and Maryan Pappas and her husband Jacob of Plymouth; three brothers, Thomas Miglionico of Milford, Donald Miglionico of Worcester, and Tony Miglionico of Beverly; three sisters, Beatrice Connor of Worcester, Elaine Dyer of Naples, Florida, and Genevieve Haynes of Falmouth; three beloved grandchildren, Angela Mangini, Nicoletta and Yanni Pappas; many nieces and nephews. She also leaves many friends, especially her dearest friends and neighbors Mary and Leon Hovsepian; as well as her "second family" and friends, whom she touched in Plymouth over the past eleven years; she became a part of their lives through the generosity and kindness, she shared with those she met. A brother, George Miglionico and a sister, Phyllis Gustaldo, both pre-deceased her. She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Nicholas and Theresa (Campanale) Miglionico and has lived here most of her life. Mary will be remembered as a kind and caring woman to family and friends. She worked all her life but most recently would be remembered at Weintraub's Domestics, and at her daughter's store, Fabrics Ltd. She then travelled extensively with her daughters and grandchildren. She was a member of Saint Joan of Arc Church. Mary's family would like to express thanks and gratitude to Dr. Robert Bessette, and his staff, Diane, Ramona, Jill, Nicole, and Angela, who helped keep Mary at home, which was always her wish. The funeral for Mary will be held Tuesday, March 3, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in Saint Joan of Arc Church, 570 Lincoln Street, Worcester. Interment will follow in Saint John's Cemetery. Calling hours will held Monday, March 2, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
