Eleanor R. "Tootsie" (Pusateri) Dell'Olio, 79, of Worcester passed away Sunday February 8th 2009 in the Christopher House surrounded by her family. Her husband of 41 years, Vincent A."Chenzi" Dell'Olio, passed away in October of 2003. She is survived by her devoted son and daughter in law Vincent L. Dell'Olio and his wife Mary of Worcester; three brothers, Frank J. "Lanky" Pusateri of Baltimore Maryland, Vincent "Winkie" Pusateri of West Boylston and Joseph "Joe Pus" Pusateri of Sterling; a sister, Nina C. Sweet of Worcester; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Susan and Julie Dell'Olio; many nieces, nephews and friends. A brother, Anthony S. Pusateri passed away in 1995, a sister Rosemary Pusateri passed away manny years ago. Eleanor was born in Worcester, the daughter of Joseph and Rose (DiBlasi) Pusateri. She graduated from Commerce High School and has lived here all her life. Tootsie worked for many years as a book-keeper for Guterman International Corporation before retiring. She was a member of the former Saint Margaret Mary's Church. Tootsie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. But, her grandchildren most of all were her life. The funeral for Eleanor will be held Wednesday, February 11, from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mount Carmel-St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry Street. Burial will follow next to her husband in Saint John's Cemetery. Friends and relatives are invited to visit with the family Tuesday, February 10th, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
