Pauline (Patruno) DelRosso, 95, of Worcester passed away Wednesday, January 28th 2009 surrounded by her devoted family. Pauline was predeceased by her husband Leo DelRosso who passed away in 1963 and her daughter Ann "Nina" DelRosso who passed away in April of 2008. She is survived by her devoted children, Steven L. DelRosso and his wife Gail, and Jean Vigliotti all of Worcester, Roseann Way and her husband Peter on Cape Cod; a brother, Michael Patruno of Worcester; 9 grandchildren, Stefanie, Joseph, Stephen, John and wife Kristen, Tammy and husband Thomas, Tara, Sheila and husband Michael, Wendy and husband Jim, Peter and wife Chris; fourteen great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Seven sisters, Angelina Simone, Eva Losapio, Nellie DiCenzo, Marie Vincequere, Janet Bishop, Yolanda Turturro, and Theresa Evangelista, and a brother Anthony Patruno all pre deceased her. Pauline was born in Hudson, New Jersey, one of 10 children of Michael and Rose M. Patruno. Pauline worked as a seamstress at the Belmont Home, for over 25 years before retiring. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church and its Golden years Club. Pauline's greatest pleasure was her family. She was an extraordinary cook and a very special seamstress. She will always be remembered and cherished for being a loving, caring mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be sadly missed. The funeral will be held Saturday, January 31st from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will follow next her husband and daughter in Notre Dame Cemetery. A period of calling hours will be held Saturday January 31st from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Home, 101 Plantation St or a charity of one's choice.
