Victor E Brigida

Victor E. Brigida, 85, of Mendon and Del Ray Beach, Florida, passed away Monday, January 19th 2009 in his home after being stricken ill. Victor is survived by his wife of 17 years Jean A. (Layfulde) Meehan, Brigida; a son, Bobby Brigida in Florida: a daughter, Joy Willms of Arlington, Mass; Three stepsons, Daniel, and Terence Meehan of Worcester, and Kevin Meehan of Millis; a stepdaughter, Marcia Flynn of Mendon; one brother, Frank Brigida of Everett; a sister, Bertha Drohan in Virginia; fifteen grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Ralph and Joseph Brigida and four sisters, Carmelena Palazzo, Antoinette Conte, Pauline Hartnet and Genevieve Alberglini all pre deceased him. He was born in and grew up in Cambridge, Ma, a son of Gaetano and Ida Brigida, living many years in the Boston Area, and Del Ray Beach Florida, before moving to Mendon recently. Victor worked many years a self employed Hairdresser before retiring. Victor was a simple man who enjoyed the beaches of Florida, Music, dancing and playing cards.
