Paul C. Bishop

Paul C. Bishop, 64, of Worcester, died peacefully on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the UMass Memorial Medical Center. Paul was born in Cambridge, MA to the late Richard and Phyllis (Marecki) Bishop and lived in both Arlington and Brighton before finally moving to Worcester. He was a graduate of Arlington High School, received his Bachelors Degree from Northeastern University and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. Paul worked as an Engineer at Raytheon Data Systems, GTE Government Systems and most recently he was a Private Management Training Consultant. He loved traveling, gardening, fishing, landscaping and spending time with his family. Paul is survived by his longtime devoted companion Karen Annis of Worcester; his two daughters, Dawn M. Bishop of North Carolina and Krista L. Bishop of East Boston; his son, Patrick M. Bishop of Quincy; his two brothers, Richard Bishop of Billerica and Kenneth Bishop of Bolton; his twin sister, Phyllis Waz of Pensacola, FL as well as several nieces and nephews. Paul was predeceased by his wife, Nancee L. (Vilbrandt) Bishop and his sister, Christine Browne. Services will be private.
