Elizabeth L. (Henderson) McGann, 68, died, Monday, January 5, 2008 in her home with her family beside her after a long courageous battle with cancer. Her husband of 16 years, Michael McGann died in 1993. She leaves her two sons, Stephen C. Paradis of Seattle, WA and Edmond C. Paradis and his wife Susan of West Boylston; three daughters, Christina Paradis of Shrewsbury, Michelle Paradis of Aurora, CO and Heather McGann. She leaves several grandchildren, including Jamie, for whom she played a prominent part in his life. She is predeceased by four bothers and three sisters. Elizabeth was born in Worcester, daughter of the late James and Anna (Igoe) Henderson and has been a native to Worcester all her life. She graduated from Scared Heart School and received her certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant from Quinsigamond Community College. Elizabeth had worked for many nursing and rehabilitation centers throughout her career, retiring from Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation Hammond House. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
